View full-textĪrthrogryposis multiplex congenita is a condition characterised by contractures and deformity in two or more body areas. This study aims to offer comprehensive evidence to guide nursing staff in providing dignity-focused interventions for older adult residents in nursing homes. We plan to disseminate the protocol and findings through relevant channels, including publication in pertinent journals, presentations at conferences and symposia, and engagement with local and international health stakeholders. This review does not involve human participants and, therefore, does not necessitate ethical approval. To minimise the risk of bias, we will critically appraise the selected studies using the Qualitative Assessment and Review Instrument. For data synthesis, we will employ the Ritchie and Spencer framework, and the Supporting the Use of Research Evidence Framework will be used for data analysis. We searched the Embase, Web of Science, CINAHL, Cochrane Library and PubMed databases for relevant studies. We conducted an initial search on 1 June 2022, for studies published between the inception of each database and 2022, using the population exposure-outcome nomenclature. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses will guide this meta-synthesis.

Ensuring a dignified life for older adults in nursing homes is critical for enhancing their overall quality of life. As in the case of the faithfulness of TL towards its SL in the National Geographic Indonesia April 2020 issue, it was found that the faithfulness was retained through the application of Chesterman’s syntactic strategies, as well as textual manipulation through the use of the syntactic strategiesĪs the population continuous to age and family sizes decrease, residing in nursing homes has emerged as a crucial option for older adults’ care. The result revealed that Chesterman’s translation strategies which were found in the magazine are syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic strategies. This study also employed the referential method in analyzing the data and formal and informal methods in presenting the analyzed data.
TEXTUAL MANIPULATION SERIES
A series of qualitative methods were employed in this study, with the library research technique used in collecting the data.
The object in this study is the National Geographic magazine April 2020 issue, both the English and Indonesian versions. The last would be finding out the types of textual manipulation in the target language text. It is then followed by the analysis of how the faithfulness of the source language text was retained in the target language text. The first began with finding out types of translation strategies in journalistic articles. This study aims to answer problems that occurred as the implication of the application of strategies in translation.
